WE SPECIALIZE IN VINTAGE, RESTORATION, RACE, MILD-STREET-HIGH PERFORMANCE TYPE BUILDS THAT TAKE TIME!
WE ARE NOT A MACHINE, TOOL, OR EQUIPMENT RENTAL SERVICE
ESTIMATE QUESTIONS: ALL JOBS ARE DIFFERENT! WE CAN TRY OUR BEST TO GIVE YOU A "RANGE" BUT AS YOU CAN GUESS, WE HAVE TO SCHEDULE & SEE THE JOB BEFORE A FINAL "RANGE" & PLAN FOR YOUR JOB IS QUOTED. WE WILL NOT WRITE ESTIMATES WITHOUT SEEING THE WORK FIRST, WITH REQUIRED DEPOSIT PAID-IN-FULL. THE INITIAL "LOOK OVER" & INSPECTION IS NOT FREE EITHER, IT NEEDS TO BE SCHEDULED WITH US.
IF YOU MUST HAVE A DETAILED WRITTEN ESTIMATE (BEFORE STARTING YOUR JOB), IT WILL REQUIRE A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT (AMOUNT-TBD ON WORK REQUESTED). IF JOB IS ACCEPTED, IT WILL BE APPLIED TO THE FINAL JOB COST.
DETAILED ESTIMATES TAKE HOURS OF TIME.

Engines, blocks, and cylinder heads need a (Non-Refundable Deposit) for Disassembly/Tear down, inspection (magnaflux/pressure testing), before ANY labor is performed! THIS IS-(ADDITIONAL) To the Detailed Estimate Deposit!! (If you requested a detailed estimate).
Any job/quote over $500 will need 50% Labor deposited. This can be included with the Initial (Teardown/Inspection) labor deposit! ALL Parts ordered by Stauffers will need a FULL Deposit up front, before any are ordered! Parts supplied by customers are "okay", however, if it is not a brand we trust, or not suited for the application, we have the right to refuse those parts! We HIGHLY recommend you letting us recommend the correct parts, especially if it is performance related!Parts Supplied by customer that Stauffers is "okay" with, hold NO LIABILITY from Stauffers. Parts Supplied by Stauffers, hold ONLY Manufacturers Warranty! Stauffers is NOT responsible for the Labor, if failures occur! We do not make the parts ourselves, and we try to use the best companies out there for your build! All Parts Sales are Final and if needing returned, will be subject to Vendor/Manufacturers Return Policies/Restocking Fees! NO EXCEPTIONS! Stauffers is NOT responsible for engine/parts failures from, but not limited to, Improper Fuel Injection/Carburetion/Oiling System priming/operation by customer OR Shop/Technician.
OUR JOB IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE INSTALL & TUNE!!!!UNLESS THERE IS A MISTAKE ON OUR PART, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES
Cylinder Heads need to be dropped off without Fuel Injectors/Rails, Manifolds, and other misc. sensors/accessories. We will not be responsible for ANY of those components. If so, and we agree, we will bill time it takes to remove (in addition to original quote/agreed on price). Stauffers is NOT responsible for Installing any Fuel Related parts, sensors, or accessoriesIf an engine, cylinder head, and any other related pieces are completed and not picked up after 30 days, that job will become Stauffers Property for Resale (Regardless of deposits). We are NOT a storage unit, please allow yourself to budget your project with us, so we can get the job done in a timely manner.
There are COUNTLESS delays in our form of business that are out of our control.
We will always work with you/your budget (as long as your request & budget align), but please do not burden us with a project you have not budgeted for.
This only delays us on other work we have here!
